Buderoo National Park Tracks

MinnamurraRainforest

Budderoo National Park is a place of natural splendour with its heathlands and eucalyptus forest.  Minamurra Rainforest walk is definitely a must-see, the trail takes you through cool rainforest, across bridges and streams and is a fascinating escape.

The park also features the ever-popular Budderoo track, a heart-pumping bike trail which follows the scenic highlands along the western ridge.

The great thing is that the tracks are structured so you can do as much or as little of the track as you like. Stop for a picnic or tackle the whole track walking or cycling.

The track is 24 km return and graded as easy. Nearby, Carrington Falls picnic area is worth a visit and hosts picnic facilities and amenities.

Just make sure you visit the Jamberoo lookout and the multi-award winning Minnamurra Rainforest Centre.

Adventure and nature combine – you may glimpse a rare swamp wallaby grazing in the grassy woodlands. During the summer months the woodland erupts into a carpet of colour, with vibrant wildflowers in spring.

It’s also a superb birdwatching spot, you could catch a glimpse of the tawny crowned honeyeater or the superb fairy wren.

Budderoo National Park is a treasure trove of experiences.
