When it comes to adventuring, there’s no experience quite as supreme as that of the wondrous Kangarutha walking track.

Located near Tathra, within the bounds of Bournda National Park’s glorious coastline, Kangarutha walking track is a challenging walk that offers the opportunity to explore pebbly beaches, sandy bays, areas of pristine rainforest and cliff top panoramas.

Spend the day on an expedition of this incredible hiking route and pack a picnic that you can enjoy while taking in scenic ocean views, before taking a dip at one of the various secluded beaches to be discovered along the way.

A perfect activity for those wanting a challenge, the track is also the perfect viewing platform for migrating whales from October to November and also exotic birdwatching year round.

Marvel as yellow-tailed and glossy black cockatoos pass overhead, as well as various other species.

Of course if you don’t want to conquer the ambitions Kangarutha track, there are also smaller walks that can be undertaken, such as Kianinny Bay to Boulder Bay, Wallagoot Lake Boat Club to Turingal Head or part of the way to White Rock Quarry.

This walking track is like no other and there is so much diversity and natural treasures to be experienced.
