Visiting the Far South Coast for the First time?
Between Sydney and Melbourne, pretty much halfway, and only three hours from Canberra, the Sapphire Coast is an absolutely unspoilt stretch of coastal wilderness.
Nature based experiences are the best way to explore and adventure in this wilderness but the Sapphire Coast also has all hte trimmings you’d expect in a coastal community.
There’s delicious seafood and local produce, art galleries and eclectic stores to rival any capital city, wineries, markets, adventure parks and of course movies, golf and even festivals.
The ever present wildlife makes any activity more interesting and for bushwalkers, kayakers and walk-in campers the Sapphire coast is probably as close to paradise as you’ll get. Nature lovers are spoilt for choice in terms of day trips and treks.
Foodies will love the range of local produce, the open air markets and the seafood straight from the boats.
You can go snorkelling or scuba diving at the local reefs or sailing away into the sunset. Water activities are another big draw.
It’s easy to get here, daily flights from most major cities land in Merimbula Airport. From there it’s not too far to Eden, Bega and Bermagui by car and a stunning trip in and of itself.
Let the dramatic scenery and atmosphere take your breath away as you explore the furthest reaches and hidden delights of this coastal wonderland.
